Our Story
Meredith & Matt met on an inconspicuous October Tuesday night in Chicago after both Atlanta natives had moved to the city, Meredith in 2019 and Matt in 2022. What felt incidental at first quickly fleeted. Meredith & Matt bonded instantaneously over their upbringing, sense of humor, hobbies, and vision for the future. Both felt an immediate sense of comfort in the other and the relationship took off quickly from there.
The holidays came shortly thereafter, providing both Meredith & Matt the opportunity to meet each other's family, which further underscored the mutual sentiment that their relationship was destined for marriage. On February 9th, 2023 Matt proposed to Meredith in Chicago.

Great for Friday night dinner before joining us across the street at the welcome party! Meredith grew up playing tennis, and Matt baseball, at Chastain Park
West Egg Cafe
A perfect Southern breakfast biscuit in West Midtown. Get there early!
Atlanta Beltline
22 miles of old railroad tracks are now a sprawling trail throughout the city
Bobby Jones Golf Course
For those that want to get a quick round of golf in near the center of the city. Highly recommended by our puppy, Mulligan!
Ponce City Market
Walk the Beltline from Midtown to Ponce City Market, where you can enjoy shopping and dining options, or hit the rooftop for mini golf and carnival games
Piedmont Park
Alongside hotel blocks with walking, restaurants, and cafes

Visit Meredith's home restaurant. If you are lucky you will sit in the booth with her plaque gifted to her from her parents
Atlanta History Center
Visit the Swan House at the Atlanta History Center, minutes from our wedding ceremony venue. Stop by the Coach House for tea, and see if you remember the facade from The Hunger Games!
